Oh my goodness do I love this series! And I can’t believe it’s time to say goodbye…but what an effervescently romantic, wonderfully swoony, and magnificently heartfelt farewell to Magnolia Falls. I wish I could just live here FOREVER. Finding Hayes is everything that I adore about Laura’s writing and this series- it’s effortlessly emotive, tender and sweetly cozy, and endlessly charming. Laura deftly weaves the past and present in an enchanting friends to lovers love story that left my heart so full and light. Hayes and Savannah OWNED me from the first to the last page. Definitely one of my all time favorites from Laura!
I have been THIRSTY for our firefighter Hayes to get his love story. And oh my does Laura deliver. I adored Hayes and Savannah together- two estranged former best friends with SO much history between them…so much longing…and so much misunderstanding. But the minute they cross paths again, they can’t deny the spark is still there. The spark they never actually got to explore. Until now- when Savannah needs a fake husband, and Hayes needs a good image for a promotion. Their fake marriage turns out to be the perfect safety net for them to explore their VERY real feelings…and to unpack their complicated past.
Laura’s friends to lovers are always my FAVORITE. She just has such a keen way of writing characters with great chemistry and connection that can authentically and organically evolve into that something “more.” Hayes and Savannah slowly are reminding of all that was magical between them, the ways in which they were both the only person who truly SAW the other. Their safeplace. Until things were derailed. They are so perfect for each other, after a bit of bickering, a lot of banter, and some real push and pull, they can finally unpack all that went wrong, and get back to what makes sense- their connection to each other. The chemistry is SOO good- and I just adored watching them both come into their own because of the emotional safety they find in each other. They both have baggage, they both have to trust again, but they are both a bit lot and SO thirsty for the love the other can give them. So watching them find that in each other, gah, it was just so rewarding. THey always belonged together- it just took them a minute to find their way.
I’m not ready to say goodbye to this series (especially my Beefcake who makes many magical cameos in this story) but the finale and the way everything is wrapped up filled my heart to the brim. This band of brothers and their feisty ladies feel like family- and while it’s bittersweet to reach the final HEA, it’s been such a sweet and heartwarming stay in Magnolia Falls.

I've been sitting on this review for a couple days now, but I still don't have words for how amazing it was and how much I loved it. This book was just perfect and no one is going to tell me otherwise. It was the perfect ending to a series, but the book itself was so strong and lovely as well. I loved Hayes and Savannah, both apart and as a couple, they just made sense, and really are each other's soulmate. Nothing but love for this book, story and the characters and actually just the whole series. I'm so sad I have to let them go, but I'm glad I can always return with a reread. Can't wait to see what's next! I definitely recommend this book!

I'm so sad this series is over! I absolutely loved this one and loved the storyline. I swear Laura's books just keep getting better and better. Hayes and Savannah were everything and I was obsessed right from the start. This was the best conclusion to our time in Magnolia Falls! I am so excited for the Rosewood River Series and to read Easton's story in January.

What a way to close out a series.
Is Laura Pavlov one of the only authors that can write a friends to strangers to lovers marriage of convenience and have me hooked? Probably. Can I just say that Hayes’ determination to be in Savannah’s life is something else. He had me giggling and kicking my feet the entire time.
I loved this!!!

SPOILERS AHEAD
This book held so much promise. But some of the sentence structure did not flow at all and also the accidental pregnancy? There could’ve been so much more to this book and a better third act conflict.
This book also dragged for too long.
This book did have good parts.

I was very much on the fence with Finding Hayes at first, I wasn't sure if I was going to love it or hate it but ended up enjoying it. Hayes was one of my main reasons for being on the fence. I wasn't fond of him but he grew on me. The miscommunication/misunderstanding was another of the reasons as I found it a bit off putting. I was very happy when it was resolved. It's one of my least fave tropes. That said I found this to be a really sweet read with a bit of steam. It was also cute. I liked the narrator's and thought they did a wonderful job with this book. I enjoyed it and definitely look forward to reading more by this author.

The final ride and die has settled down and it is so bittersweet. It has been such a great last visit to Magnolia Falls. I absolutely love Hayes and Savannah's story. I was hooked from the beginning and I am totally in love with the twist later in the book. The entire series is a must read.

“Being around Hayes felt…comfortable. Easy. I wanted to hate him.”
Finding Hayes is book five in the Magnolia Falls series and is Hayes and Savannah’s story.
I am a sucker for the marriage of convenience trope and Laura really knocked this story out of the park. Each book in this series just keeps getting better! These two have a great story and is told very well. Savannah and Hayes were also once childhood friends and this is definitely a second chance story done right. Laura is amazing at writing the small town romance with all the feels!
These two reunite and the chemistry and banter between these two are off the charts. No matter what either thought of their past, they both were ready to help and support each other. Savannah and Hayes definitely complement each other in all the best ways. I also enjoyed that characters from the other books make an appearance, like Beefcake!
Releasing October 24, 2024. I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
