Many thanks to Laura Pavlov and Valentine PR for the opportunity to read and review the ARC. The below review is my honest and unbiased opinion.
This was the first Laura Pavlov book I read, and while I wasn't the biggest fan of the book - I would still pick up others of hers should I have the opportunity.
I found the pacing and plot a bit rushed - even though the book was a healthy 300+ pages long. There was A LOT going on plot wise, and nothing was given extensive enough detail for a reader to feel truly invested. While I liked Hayes as a MMC, and Savannah was ok as a FMC, I found their character and relationship development a little off. I also didn't understand the pacing of the story. It seemed to take place over the course of months - yet that wasn't necessarily explicit, and it wasn't the clearest to understand.
The cast of characters was great (and I hadn't read any previous books in the series, so that's saying something!). I loved the setting and the various locations throughout the story. The group text pages were hilarious, and I did find the story funny. It ended nicely and was a beautiful full circle ending.
