I can’t believe we are saying goodbye to this series.
Magnolia Falls was such a perfect series that I conquered my heart from book one until book five. Every single book was so good that it’s hard for me to put it into words.
After reading “Beating Heart” I was truly afraid that I wouldn’t love “Finding Hayes” the way I loved book four. Perhaps because Hayes was always such an introverted character and we didn’t know him as much as we did with the other four characters. But Laura did what she does better: made me speechless again.
Hayes is a character with so many layers and it was such a pleasure journey to meet him better. He is a protector to the core and we already knew that from the Forbidden King story but in this book we could dive in such a deeper way and meet him and his concerns.
One of the best things about Hayes - that I love in every mmc - is how sweet and how much he cares about the fmc. Do you know when the main guy is such a grumpy guy to everyone except for her? I LOVE TO SEE THAT. The way he loves Savannah is just superior.
And now, let’s talk about her - Savannah. I LOVE HER. I adored every little detail about her and I wish I could hug her in every chapter. Her reasons were so valid and we could feel how much she was hurt from her past. She is, like Hayes, a protector and I loved to see her calmness about her father and, from page to page, about her husband as well.
The tropes in this book are also some of my favorites: who doesn’t love a marriage of convenience? But what I adore more are the second chance vibe and the “it’s always been you” - make me giggle every time.
One thing that I truly need to highlight is the found family in every book. The Ride Or Die group will own a part of my heart forever - this series truly meant something so special to me and I fell in love with Laura’s writing - who made me SOB in chapter 28.
I am truly so sad to see this series over but I am excited to see the new world as well!

I have been eagerly anticipating getting Hayes’s book since I started reading this series and it did not disappoint. Although still don’t love the miscommunication trope. Why is it so hard for the characters to just talk to one another sometimes? This book had so many things I enjoy in a romance, a firefighter male main character, and marriage of convenience trope, and I enjoyed seeing some of the characters from earlier books continuing to live their happy ever after. This was a great conclusion to this series and I look forward to reading some of the other series from this author.

marriage of convenience, best friends to strangers to lovers with a dash of second chance romance -> omg my stomach was hurting so bad reading this angst. i loved that the character arcs play out the way they did and Hayes and Savvy both went from being emotionally closed off when they were separated from each other and believing that they deserved bad things to realizing that they both deserved good things and joy. and that the joy they found in each other was worth going after. like omg their relaitonship was sooooo sweet too like savannah and hayes were adorable togetherrrr. and the way these two were giving soulmatism ahhhhhhhhh this was an excellent conclusion to the series 😭🫶🏾

As I read the other books in the series, I always saw Hayes as a grump. In this story, I got to see his huge heart and huge capacity for loving. I got to see that his best friend of all times, Savannah, came back after an absence of ten years, in which she blocked him out of her life. And yet, when she needed help, he didn’t hesitate, he offered himself to help her, no doubts.
I knew immediately that Sav’s absence and anger towards him had to be a misunderstanding, because the feelings between them, that easiness of being together, didn’t allow for any bad actions between them. They marry so Sav could inherit and help her dad fight his cancer. And of course, her forced stay in Magnolia Falls and in his house brought the clarification they needed and we needed to know.
In this story and all the stories of the series, there’s a common thread of brotherhood. These five men have been loyal and supportive to each other, and their group chat is hilarious. It’s one of the best things I like in the book. And the other one is little Beefcake. He’s a little boy, but his old soul gives lessons to the big men in his life, all the time. He is love personified, the product of a father and four uncles who care and watch out for him. To me, he is the best part of the series.
I’m sorry this series ends, but I’m already looking forward to the new series and Easton’s story.

Absolutely love! Laura Pavlov has done it again and what a perfect ending to the Magnolia Falls series. Marriage of convenience, long lost best friends, small town, grumpy/sunshine. So much goodness!
If Laura Pavlov writes a book you know I am going to read it. I am OBSESSED with Laura’s book and this one is definitely up there as my all time favourite. I’ve adored the Magnolia Falls series and I am very sad that it’s going to be over now :( I just want it to be around forever!
From the very start, I was so intrigued by Hayes and I couldn’t wait for his book and it didn’t disappoint. From the very start I was obsessed with Hayes and Savannah. Hayes was such an amazing caring MMC and I loved his relationship with beefcake. Savannah was such a strong character but she also had her heartbreaks that she pushed through and came out so strong.
If you’re a fan of small town romance, then definitely read this book as well as the rest of Magnolia Falls!!
Cannot wait for the new series! ✨

Bittersweet emotion that goes straight to the heart. Finding Hayes ticks all the boxes when it comes to captivating. Unpredictable emotions, irresistible characters and breathtaking storytelling. Pavlov turns immature heartache into an everlasting romance. Savannah and Hayes take the soul by storm.
