with the marriage requirement in his will. I loved seeing the Magnolia Falls crew together and how they all pitched in for one another. I always dislike the “we used to be friends but now we aren’t and you know why” plot line, but I was happy it happened in high school and not as a 3rd act break-up in present day.
Happy Release day! Reading this book was bittersweet, because I was just not ready for this series to end! Hayes + Savannah had the sweetest friends to enemies to lovers and I loved reading them get their happily ever after. Hayes + Savannah had been best friends growing up, until her life fell apart. Then, she wanted nothing to do with him, until she found herself back in her hometown needing to find a husband STAT. Hayes doesn’t ever want to get married, but is willing to help Savannah out so she can get her inheritance. But suddenly, things start to heat up, and nothing feels fake anymore
Omg! This was sooo freaking good! This was the final book in the Magnolia Falls series and what a freaking way to end!
I am OBSESSED with this story. Marriage of convenience is one of my favorite tropes and man did she kill it for Hayes and Savvy. The angst in the beginning of the book was so good and fueled the hate Savvy felt towards Hayes.
I called it from the jump there was soo much more to the story besides just family drama that made Savvy leave for over a decade and I was not disappointed with how they came back together ! One of her best books by far!
And I adored the Beefcake moments
