Small town second chance with a fake marriage / marriage of convenience thrown in! Sign me up!
Yes, of course there are some obvious plot lines and the miscommunication for Hayes and Savannah is 1000% the most obvious but it didn’t drag and ultimately Kate was so not a protagonist they had to worry over for long that the whole book was enjoyable.

Hayes and Savannah!!!
Thank you to Valentine PR and Laura Pavlov for this ARC. When I found out the trope was a childhood best friends to lovers, I couldn’t wait to read. That is one of my favorites if done right. And it absolutely was!
Hayes may be my new favorite of the guys. I definitely feel like the author saved the best for last here!!! That’s one of the things I love about Laura Pavlov’s books, is they literally get better and better. I wish that every guy had a friend group like these guys too. The way they support each other and their group texts are my favorite not to mention hilarious!!

I absolutely recommend this book and cannot wait for the next series!

I’d say 4.5 stars. My biggest gripe is I wanted more firefighting action. Overall absolutely loved it and this series. I’m glad I don’t have to fully say goodbye to everyone. I’m sure we’ll get snippets in the Rosewood River series.
