Absolutely adored this book. Listened to the audiobook and it was just perfect and devastating and moving. Every word chosen was meaningful and lyrical and profound, the author made details about icing on a cake or a haircut incredibly beautiful and connected to themes of fortune, kindness, duty, family. I just loved it, 100% recommend especially for anyone Irish!!
