I picked this book up from my library on a whim on a sunny day in October, however, after multiple renewals I only picked it up and finished reading it in December. I finished this book in three sittings and it was a very light-hearted tennis romance. In all honesty, I picked this up because I am obsessed with watching Break Point on Netflix and missed it after finishing the series.
Flora, the FMC is a budding artist wanting to draw a graphic novel, the beginning of the book is an opening I have read before and I found the plot of the book didn't surprise/ excite me. I saw the ending coming from a mile away. The romance was sweet but it was fast (they fall in love in the course of 4 weeks) which is never something I enjoy reading but understood how it was was the plot point of the novel.
I did find the author used A LOT of capitals to emphasise tone but I didn't think it was necessary and was a little jarring visually to watch.
Even the conflict/ conflict resolution happened and was resolved very quickly.
In the end, I felt this book was fine if you go in with expectations that this book is not going to change your life and its not going to be the best romance you've ever read then its perfectly enjoyable!
I think there was... less tennis/ Wimbledon action than I thought there would be and the matches seemed to just suddenly end or get summarised which upon reflection I wished there was more of a play by play description of some of the matches more so than there was.

Katherine Reilly serves a funny and sweet romance between a grumpy tennis player and lost artist in Match Point.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Flora, from being cheated on to having the roof collapse on her holiday, she now has to share her one bed flat with the grumpiest player in tennis.
I’m here for all the new sports romances popping up recently and who’d have thought tennis could be sexy? A fun read to enjoy with your strawberries and cream this summer.
Thank you NetGalley and Aria and Aries for the ARC.
