A powerful tale of the power that arises in revolutions big and small. A poignant follow-up to the unforgettable first novel in the series.

I love so many things about this story but in particular:
1. lesbian love
2. constant march towards justice
3. questioning the limits of humanity and what it means to love someone

I also love that this second book is told from Carmen's perspective. I highly recommend these books if you like books with strong womxn leads, revolution, LGBTQ+ story lines, and feminism.
