This book dragged on and on and on and then it was over. Mac is a literal shadow of herself who whines internally for most of the book. When she goes to to kick ass she blacks out and leaves us the readers with nothing. From there its a up and down ride of nothingness and empty scenes.
Love love love this series. While not the book I originally expected I loved it. There's a few frustrating moments that I cannot articulate without spoilers but that doesn't stop it from being a fantastic story.
There is nothing in the world better than a Karen Marie Moning book except a Karen Marie Moning book narrated by Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross. These two narrators bring the story to life like nothing else can. They honestly do a better job than my own imagination could if I were reading it to myself.
I enjoyed this book so much! It was great catching up with all the older characters and learning new things about them. The reminders of the previous stories strewn throughout the book were the perfect way to jog my memory in a much beloved, but long ago read series. They in no way detracted from moving this plot forward. If anything, they added to it.
As always, KMM's plot is non-stop action packed emotional turmoil. Original, emotional, fast-paced, and often humorous is how I would describe this, and all, of KMM's books. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys reading romance.

Gaaaah. This series goes up and down and up and down and I am so glad I've finished all of them up to this point because I was starting to get real lazy. The plot is also starting to get reaal confusing. This series should've ended after book 5. It's draagginggg.

I really didn't like All of the different povs. I felt like I was reading mini novellas or something. And honestly I don't want to read anymore from Mac. I just want Dani's pov for the most part. I can understand why KMM did what she did, but still. Lors pov was hilarious! I did feel that Barrons and Mac seemed disconnected. Overall this was kind of boring to Iced. It was lacking in the action department. I will say though that some of the revelations did surprise me.

Karen Marie Moning is my Champion once again! I am extremely happy with this book. Not only did the story bring back my all time favorite characters from the Highlander series, but the main cast from the beginning of the Fever series was blessedly back as well. The progression of the storyline has me in awe! I snorted from laughing so hard, got pissed of, sobbed like a little baby after you take away its favorite toy, and then celebrated and sighed with relief.
That's proof of damn good storytelling! The only complaint I have is the wait for the next book! This wait is going to super fecking suck!!
