I don't know... it was well written, but slow and a kind of sad wandering path to each other. Dis not like the constant fat-phobia and borderline emotional disloyalty (?). The beginning was so fun, didn't like the middle, and felt a bit conflicted by the rushed, but satisfying ending...

I found the female protagonist very relateable. Except for one discovery I found it quit predictable

Between the rampant fat phobia, the lack of content note re: cancer, and the stuttery writing, i simply couldn’t continue.

I enjoyed the first few chapters of this book before it got really soapy. This book also takes place over the course of two years (refreshing), but Hannah (FL) does not have ANY character growth and we spend the majority of the time seeing her in a toxic relationship. It's odd.

There's also a lot of alcohol and fat phobia and I have to suspend a lot of disbelief at the ending.

I think this book too a little too much autobiographical aspects from the author's relationship overall. Also, no reason for Davey's POV to just appear 100 pages in. Totally unnecessary and muddle Hannah's thru line.

I’m kind of sad that I finished this book and it’s now over. I loved this story so much. This book does have a major trigger, so if you have triggers, I would check into it before reading.

It’s a perfect holiday book - it begins and ends around Christmas time, so I feel like this was the perfect time to read it. Glad it is the Gloss bookclub selection this month.

One of the best modern romances I've ever read. Love that you get to know each of the two main characters so deeply and personally alongside their relationship unfolding.

The characters were frustrating at times but overall I enjoyed this book! The plot was interesting and unique. I would’ve rated it higher if it didn’t have so much diet culture bullshit.

I really enjoyed this book. Had life not been so busy, I would've finished it in a matter of days.  I thought Davey & Hannah were very relatable, and enjoyed seeing their story unfold.  I would love for this to turn into a movie!!
