I also got duped by Mads’ self promoting TikTok’s, because I also didn’t notice.. but I am not one bit mad about it. Is it the basic premise of every other fantasy story? Yes, but I LOVE that story.

Great storyline love the characters make me laugh and smile love how Delilah is strong, but still shows her weaknesses. Knox is amazing. Love the way he doesn’t push her but still lets little things slip out. I really think it’s cool that everybody works together as like a team and it’s not just the two main characters doing everything. I’m so excited for book 2 I really do hope. She puts her daddy in his right place.

Delilah is a princess who mysteriously becomes fae when she flees her home. She makes instant friendships with every fae she meets.
- I felt like this book was a daydream I would have had in middle school. Delilah is special and magical to the point of a complete lack of flaw or limitation. The magic system is so soft, it’s liquid and speaking of liquid… the book uses the phrase “liquid heat” FIVE TIMES, heat or some sexy alternative “pooling” SEVEN TIMES!
- Other things that bothered me:
  - Their “canines flare” what does that even mean? They’re teeth. They don’t flare. I can only imagine she meant they dropped?
  - I get it… his eyes are blue
  - “I” when it should have been “me”
  - Very derivative of ACOMAF and not in the right way
