Extreme, filthy, kinky, horror which I couldn't put down - Even when the author addresses the reader directly that it's time to take a break.

But despite all the grizzly details of body horror, there's still little as scary as Britain's growing transphobia.

and yes, there's a JK Rowling analogue.

This was disturbing and difficult to read. But outside of these moments, it was reflective and challenging in a whole new way.

The most disturbing part of this book was how believable I found it. I could see exactly how we could get to those point. The true terror of this book is the near dystopian Orwellian world we find ourselves in.

I’m lucky that I can’t really visualise as I read - if I could, I’m not sure I would have made it through some of these scenes.

Its a dark and gross telling of the struggles of a transwoman, with a flash bang of infestation and almost fever dream type description. I wasn't sure what this book what gonna be like starting it but  surprisingly it was pretty good. Shock factor plays a big role in my high rating.
