This book is perfect for someone who LOVES film and analyzing every movie they watch, but are too weenie for the scary stuff. I had so much fun reading this.

As a horror weenie, this is the book I needed to understand WHY people like these movies (without watching most of them myself). 
I had watched 3 of the films discussed and generall agreed with the author's takes, so I trust them to explain the others to me! 
It also helps that their commentary has the occasional joke or snarky comment thrown in to lighten the mood.

I love this because I want to know things about movies but hate watching them. I haven't actually finished reading it but will refer to it as needed. I especially loved the book recommendations at the end of every movie synopsis.
