I must say this book was interesting to read, I was very very unsure to be honest from the beginning but reading a dark stalker romance book was good, their chemistry is just something else - I literally can’t explain it. Just read this book and you’ll understand what I mean.

This gripped me since the beginning. So many secrets that I wasn’t expecting and it was definitely something I wasn’t expecting.
Very, very hot. Very dirty. Very much all of my wildest dreams.
It’s mostly sex, but the sex was done so well that I didn’t mind the lack of plot.
The dirty talk was scorching. I mean, Jesus Christ, this did it for me.
Only down side, it was a bit dramatic.
In the beginning the author tried too hard to make the hero seem unfazed by killing. And every time she wanted a plot twist she just had them remember some huge (unforgettable) thing from their past.
But again... the sex. (:
Hell, I could eat this book.
Four stars. Give me more.

"My little Petal. My Pet."
Ok the book is dark as promised. Kinda safe.
I love the twists, the cliffhanger and the story.
But let's say the author's style is not my cuppa. A bit amateur.

This book is a trip. Very dark and definitely not for the faint of heart. The first part of the book was honestly really cringe-y. The descriptions of Jasper’s life and mindset were embarrassingly bad. His interactions with people and his boss Lucio came off really unbelievable. All of that really majorly failed to suspend my disbelief which brought me out of the story again and again.
I’m not a quitter though. I’ve only ever DNF’d handful of books ever. So I soldiered on. As you see I ended up with 4 stars. I’m shocked too. I’ve never had a book start out so bad and end up loving it enough to give it 4 stars. It would have been 5 if not for the beginning.
The book got infinitely better once he stopped stalking Petal and actually began their crazy messed up relationship. I typically hate hot/cold relationships in books. It always feels like authors use it to build angst - which I absolutely despise. Not this book though. The hot/cold & push/pull between Jasper and Petal is spot on. It not only works it’s desperately needed for the story.
I was riveted once they began their relationship. It was so messed up but so good.
