Where do I even begin..? This was honestly a complete masterpiece. The book is raw, intense, gritty, and dark. The storyline consumed my life, and I devoured it within a few hours. I wasn't ready for this one to end. Isabella Starling is officially in my top 5 favorite authors.
Georgina is a nurse, and doesn't have much of a social life. Even though she's living day by day, she really isn't living her life. She has had a troubled past wrapped around in many secrets that hold her back. There's many things she tries to keep hidden, but only a man like Jasper can fulfill them. Georgina freaks out often because of the intense relationship between Jasper and her. So, we see her many times pushing back against him.
I hate and love Jasper all at once. He's used doing his job of hunting and his favorite part, killing. He's never meet a person who's intrigued him as much as Georgina though. Her sad secretive eyes captivated him, and stalking her was his first response. He had to figure out everything about her. At times, he showed no empathy towards her, but then he'd do something out of character and utterly sweet. He showed in many different unconventional ways how much he cares.
The chemistry to between Jasper and Georgina is blazing hot. It's was an experience to fully peel back the layers of both Jasper and Georgina. The plot was fascinating from the first paragraph, and I was blown away with how creative the writing was. I definitely had a book hanger over.
If you're looking to read this book be warned it's dark. There are overwhelming scenes, intense sexual encounters, and devastating secrets. Every page had a different surprise waiting. Something about stalkers and romance has always been appealing to me. Looking at the characters past, and figuring out why they became who they did is one of the best thing about reading a book in this type of genre. I can't wait for the next book.

I love reading Isabella Starling's books and when I got the chance to read this duet I couldn't wait.
You think you know what's going on, until you don't. Then you get in the head space of jasper and think you have him figured out, but still the authors of this series twist the story again and take you down another path. but when you arrive at the end it forks and your lost, not know which way to turn. excellent book i cant wait to see where to story takes me next.

This book! This book was amazing! It was dark and intense and involved a creepy stalker!! I couldn’t put it down! I read it all in one sitting! It did end on a cliffhanger so I need the next book like now!

A new level of dark even for me! There are trigger warnings that should be taken seriously. Although this is DARK, it was so interesting I had to keep reading. It is part one of a duet, so there is a cliffhanger.
Jasper is so very intense, intense that to meet him would be scary even though he is quite handsome. He sees a nurse Georgina and has an unexplained attraction for her. He goes all out to meet her and get to knows her. He does not keep people close.
Georgina has always kept a very low profile. Moving around not keeping many friends. There is something about Jasper that has her wary of him but also madly attracted to him.
Does Jasper hate Georgina or is there something here?

Georgina Hill works as a nurse in the ER and feels like there is someone always watching her. Yet she doesn't know if she is going crazy or if there is more to it.
Soon Georgina finds herself meeting Jasper and he turns her life upside down and not in a way she was expecting at all. Yet Georgina must figure out if Jasper is her stalker, lover, protector or killer.
Wow!!! This book was so much more than I ever thought possible with some jaw-dropping twists that made me keep reading as fast as I could!
Jasper was such a dark character but you would get glimpses of good in him when it came to protecting Georgina yet he was also so cruel to her and you knew what he was capable of from working for Lucia Costa.
Georgina was a wonderful character who was obviously caring by her job as a nurse but she also valued her privacy and lived a quite solitary life with her cats. She finally gets up the courage to accept a date with Dr Andrew Martin but that ends horribly yet she still agrees to let her co-worker Dinah set her up on a blind date.
There was something about Georgina that Jasper could not let go of and it was jeopardizing his job with Costa as he was supposed to be looking for a mysterious Costa heir named Joseph to eliminate him. The scenes between Georgina and Jasper were incredibly intense and their attraction through the roof but Georgina also had a side to her that I wasn't expecting and it was one that Jasper completely used to his advantage.
Jasper was still trying to find out what happened to Joseph and his research was leading him towards to Sarah Lisette who did an incredible job hiding Joseph and never let anyone know what she was hiding. I was very mad at what happened to her.
Towards the end of the book there is a HUGE twist that I was not expecting as pieces began to fall into place and I was left with my jaw on the floor!!
The end of the book left me with a possible alliance but I was a little surprised at what Jasper did but at the same time it was the right thing and I can't wait for the next one!!
