I read this while on a beach vacation and overall really enjoyed it. The reason for the lower rating is that I found the final reveal of the murderer/conclusion of the mystery a bit unsatisfying. I did read this relatively quickly and while in a busy environment, so it could have been that I missed previous details that would have made the conclusion feel more earned, but I just felt like some stuff came out of nowhere and didn’t quite click all together in my mind. But, I still had a good time reading this and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good murder mystery!

I am participating in the #ReadChristie2023 read along and this was the pic for one of the summer months. I had not read it before and it was a great read. A sign of a fantastic book is when you want to keep reading and learning what the truth is. Hercule Poirot is trying to enjoy his holiday but he quickly gets tangled up in the drama of several of the couples that are there. It is quickly known that there is a rendezvous between one of the husbands and other wives. When that woman is found murdered, Poirot is on the case to solve it!
