Not Christie's best, but also far from her worst. Everything fits together logically, but the big reveal relies a little too heavily on guess work instead of hard facts, thus the three star rating. This book is largely free of those elements, but I will warn that it has moments where it leans heavily on old fashion gender roles and uses words like "manish hands" to describe a woman with larger hands. Do with that what you will.

Christie is a master. Who else can explain so deftly all the little clues littered through the novel so everything fits so neatly? I like the way she uses flawed persons as characters but still treats them with respect. Poirot is also a protagonist you love to follow down the rabbit hole.
