Read this- Uncle Nicky’s fav books for grandnephews. And The Rainmaker. This is Us.
4.5 for me. Mitchell takes a job offer that’s too good to be true & ends up between a rock and a hard place. Story was entertaining and fairly predictable. Appreciated all of the little things here & there that were unexpected. Definitely kept me invested, overall lots of good characters, very white collar crime vibes.
I had such high hopes. Such high hopes. This will include a rant about the ending so don't read...
SO MaNY unanswered questions!!!
Will Abby ever find about her husbands rendezvous in the caymans?
Who is still on their tail?
What happens to them now?
I guess I really just want. A second book that shows their life now that they've outrun the mafia and the FBI.

I had a very hard time rating this book out of 5. All in all it probably deserves a 4. There are no beautiful, or inspiration inducing lines however this is the definition of a page turner. I was never bored once with what was happening and I constantly kept saying to myself "well, this chapter is just 10 more pages". You won't be able to put it down. Definitely recommend this book if you are in a rut with big wordy books and want something to renew your quick reading skills.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
Hated it. Haven't read another Grisham book. Maybe because I worked at law firms all my life, but I thought it was silly and the writing was dry. It was a while ago but I'm not even sure I finished it.
I read this years ago, 90s?, because of the Cayman connection. I can't remember if I liked the book or the movie better, but remember that they were different. I enjoyed it, but not enough to seek out more of his books.
