This book is so fast paced and hilarious with characters that are honest, raw and blunt. Hogwarts is a professor-less monster infested death trap that also teaches you magic if you manage to survive breakfast. Our main character El trusts no one, loves her mother, and just wants to make it out alive with all her limbs. This was a fantastic October read!

DID NOT FINISH: 26%

I can’t explain how much this book is not for me. I was mostly confused about everything and being stuck in the main characters CONSTANT ramblings about everything was exhausting. I have no idea how this book has 4 stars average, I’m not wasting any more time on reading it.
