I was drawn to him, like Icarus to the damn sun… because that’s what Finn was to me. Warmth, light, and life. He was the fire that kept the shadows away. I’d been existing in darkness until he laid those big, hazel eyes on me, and now I didn’t know how to return to my cold and lonely exile without him.
did i finish this book or did it finish me? that’s the question. i was hooked from the very beginning to the very end. finn is such a fun character. he’s energetic, the epitome of golden retriever, such a ray of sunshine. riddick is the exact opposite, very grumpy and closed off. these two form an unlikely pair when finn asks riddick to train him to surf these insane waves in the new town he’s in. i loved all the side characters and the relationship between everyone.
this definitely is an unconventional HEA but i loved it all the same. i loved the surfing and the training aspects of it as well as the way finn and riddick built their relationship.

Oh, Alex… what are you doing to me?! Just when I think you can't possibly deliver another banger, you prove me wrong. I was absolutely buzzing to receive a PR Box for Chasing Riddick, and, as always, Alex’s little details are just adorable.

I went into this book totally blind and absolutely fell in love. Finn and Riddick’s story is so heart-wrenchingly beautiful. This book will live rent-free in my head for a long, long time.
Turtle is also an amazing character. We all need a Turtle in our lives.
