To say I am a fan of this series is a true statement. There have been many times I have re-read a book in this series to jump start a slump. They are easy reads, not so many main characters that you’d forget them, and they make me laugh. OUT LOUD! Where can you find a bond enforcement officer that blows up cars on a regular basis, chases wild animals, has a grandma that packs the biggest gun that fits in her purse, and a whole gaggle of men that desire her? If you have never read a Stephanie Plum story and any or all those things mentioned above work for you? You might want to give one a shot.

Diesel is decent in the novellas but just doesn’t work in the full novels. Diesel subs in as a low rent Ranger and no one needs that.
Aside for that this was a decent story that balanced the humor and more serious pretty well.

Stephanie Plum never disappoints. I hope Melvin and Charlotte become regular characters. Stephanie needs some hackers in her corner.

I still love Stephanie Plum books nearly 25 years since I read my first one! She makes me laugh, she makes me guess, and she makes me smile. What more could you ask for from a cozy mystery bounty hunter? Hopefully, Grandma never dies and Stephanie never quits getting cars blown up and the men never stop teasing.
