Wow, I loved this book. For me, it is up there with Neil Strauss' The Truth. Personal, funny, touching, it was amazing to see her journey and her clients journeys over the year. It was also very insightful to look from both a therapist and patient's perspective.

Loved it. Interesting, thought provoking, well written and entertaining. A memoir by a therapist about how she became a therapist, how she worked with a few of her clients, and her own (simultaneous) experience as a patient of a therapist.

I imagine this book is more interesting to people who don't already know "how the sausage gets made" in the therapy room. There were some heart-tugging moments but doesn't encompass the fullness of the therapeutic relationship.

This was a fascinating read.  It's written by a therapist and it tells part of her story and journey with her own therapist, while also telling the stories of clients and giving you a peek into the world of therapy.  I learned a lot while also enjoying my time with the book.
