A super quick read, with a lot of heart. I loved it, and my middle school book club will be reading this one soon!
fast-paced

I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to read this book. It’s one that has just slipped by, I suppose. I’m so glad I finally picked it up. It’s perfection. Easy text and language for readers just getting their chapter-book-feet under them, but still an interesting story with big ideas. This book would lead to a lot of great conversations and thoughts. I can see why it is so frequently taught.

Super cute book, I can see why all the kids like the book!

Quirky and fun. The perfect read for new chapter book readers.

A fun, quick read but I prefer Andrew Clements’ No Talking slightly better.

We loved this book! I read it aloud to Clara and we breezed right though it, anxious to see where Nick’s little experiment would take him. It was the perfect back-to-school read aloud. Highly recommend!
