Ivy has found herself in a found hell. Accused of something we all know she didn't do, and Santi well Santi needs to be throat punched at this time... Ivy has been through so much and I am not talking about what she has endured since she and Santi have been married either. This young lady has overcome and has adapted to everything. I for one adore her and love the strong woman she is becoming. Now Santi, well Santi has some redeeming to do. The question is will he? His dark and tortured soul sings to me, but I am not gonna lie he has pissed me off a time or two. There were a few different times I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs for him to pull his head out of his ass! Now with this being said I love him and I do believe that he and Ivy are perfect for each other. She is the light to his dark. I can not wait to see how their story ends.

Liked seeing Ivy grow more fiery and confident. Santiago's retaliations become more brutal in turn despite wavering commitment to his revenge. Ivy starts to see the sensitive and lost side of her husband, but he's determined to bury his humanity beneath his hatred. This couple still has a ways to go before reaching their HEA. Another exciting cliffhanger!

Well this was a big improvement... I actually felt like stuff happened in this book. I read this book super fast.
I did like the twists in this book even though it was pretty predictable.
I feel like there wasn't much connection between Santiago and Ivy or at least I just wasn't as invested in their relationship as I hoped I would be.
Again, I really like the ending... it seems to be something that these authors are really strong at doing since even though I don't love this book I still want to read on.

Continuation of the first and I couldnt put it down! Santiago still wants revenge, but the need for it becomes less. He is still so angry and the way he treats Ivy is almost too much. These authors do such a good job of having our anti-hero walk a fine line between being too much and what he does being acceptable. I think because Ivy stands up to him or at least takes what he gives her without backing down, it doesnt make you feel as bad, by enjoying it too!
We get a little more of what really happened all those years ago and realise there is so much more to the story.

There are just no good words! Fantastic, edge fo your seat ride. Cliffhanger leaving me wanting more!! I can’t wait for the next book.....this series just slays me! Love it so much there are just not enough words to express how much I love this series. So good! Five stars! Cannot wait for the last book.....I can’t wait to see what happens!

Wow. What a ride ! I am writing this review with my heart still beating fast and loudly from this cliffhanger.
I should have read the reviews that said to not start before bed or you wouldn’t be sleeping. I stayed awake until 4am to finish it.
This is a fact I can confirm now : do not read this before bed or you won’t sleep.
This books was amazing. Full of angst, suspense, and got my emotions all over the place.
This is dark and sometimes too dark. Check your TW, for me this would be considered domestic abuse IRL, Santiago beats and rape her sometimes- besides locking her in the dark-
We are not in a CNC situation. It’s litteraly rape.
It’s not one of my TW but you should know before diving in.
I will jump in the 3 rd one right now and probably regret in the morning but I can’t stop.
