I really liked the writing style and the fact that the different perspectives were written in a way I haven’t seen in other books.

I loved this psychological thriller!
The story is about Dr Anne Wiley, who is a heart surgeon. One day, her patient dies while she is performing a heart operation on him. Did she murder him, or was it an accident?
Also in the story, we have Paula Fuselier, who is a lawyer who is out to get Anne. Will she succeed?
I really enjoyed this book, especially with the awesome narrator, who did a great job. I found the book shocking, thrilling, unique, fast paced, crazy and full of drama and suspense.
If you love crazy psychological thrillers with a medical twist, then you will love this book. Highly recommended!

I thought this was a good medical thriller, but not great enough for all the buzz it's been getting. Just kind of your standard fare, middle of the road thriller. Overall, I enjoyed the story but was bored in some parts. I found most of the characters to be somewhat flat and one dimensional which kept me from being more engaged and invested in the story. Not a bad read though, by any means. I'd recommend it for fans of medical drama / thrillers.
Definitely a bit slow to start, but once I got through the first third-ish, it picked up and there were some interesting twists and I did enjoy the ending. I think not focusing more on the backstory was a bit of a missed opportunity for some really fantastic character building. There could have been a lot more depth and emotion and understanding, especially for Paula.
This was a really good book. Some of the twists were predictable but I was really invested in Anne’s story and wanted to see how it ended up. Was such a quick and easy read, the ending is something I could have never predicted!
