What a delightful story! I really enjoyed reading Halla and Malthior’s tale, especially after seeing them in Bound to the Battle God. My only complaint with this is I felt like there was plenty of substance here to be a full novel, not just a novella. I wanted more! But, what was on the page was an insta-love age gap romance like we typically don’t see, and I’m here for it!

I thought “hey, before jumping into Ice Planet Barbarians, let’s give Ruby Dixon a try by reading her novella”.
I will not be reading Ice Planet Barbarians.

Halla and Malthior. Becoming a barbarian bride with interesting customs. This was cute but not as entertaining as her other books.
