Let me preface my review by saying a week will never be enough!

What this week entails:

- snark, snark, and a side of more snark
I love snark, sarcasm, and witty comments. These two light the fire and keep it blazing with their innuendo, snark, and straight talk.

- cock.
There is a lot of cock. Chases and fear. Fear of cock. It's totally a thing. (okay so maybe I'm exaggerating...But just remember these words when reading. lol)

- naughty, naughty thoughts
This is self explanatory.

So my week might have been slightly different than Vada's (coughs "no benefits") but I had a blast reading about hers. It's sexy, sweet, and all sorts of naughty. Bad Boys are my weakness...So you can imagine how much fun it really is!

I look forward to learning all about Olivia's week next and of course Vada's take on it. But I think Ethan is right...

My Week with the Bad Boy was so good! It's a dual POV from Ethan and Vada. Ethan has a past he's trying to deal with meanwhile Vada just needs some time to write her freaking book. Yes, Vada is a writer for the smut people!

I loved Ethan and Vada so much! Vada has such sass and is so freaking independent. Yeah, she has a crappy past with relationship because the guys she dated were basically toads. Vada needed someone good in her life that basically rocked her world. Enter Ethan. He lost his wife and baby all within a matter of days. However, the world starts turning for him once Vada walks up to his door.

Okay, I loved the smut in this book. However, the chemistry between these two was kind of off and on for me. I get that they were flirting and stuff but it's like I couldn't tell if they were going to make it or not.

Overall, the ending made me have happy tears. I loved these two and I'm happy Ethan finally got a family. Loved the book and I can't wait for more!

I was really forward to reading this because, well, who doesn't love a bad boy?! While it wasn't my favorite book by these two talented authors, I did enjoy it. My Week with the Bad Boy is a quick and swoony read with a whole lot of heat!! *blows out breath* The sexual chemistry between Ethan and Vada is off the charts. The mouth on Ethan...hot…ridiculously HOT!

Vada is a romance novelist with a case of writer's block. Looking for inspiration and motivation to finish her new book, she decides a change of scenery is just the thing she needs. So she rents a cottage in Charleston for a week. There she meets the owner of the cottage, the very sexy Ethan Rochester. His arrogance and cockiness and her sass and smart mouth, they were bound to butt heads. As their week goes on and the tension builds, they fall into bed together in a no strings, only sex relationship. Both characters have a past that has kept them from seeking a real relationships. Of course, the more time they spend together the more their feelings grows and secrets are shared.

If I'm honest, I was a little iffy on these characters. It took a while for me to warm up to Ethan. I wasn't a big fan of his crass attitude in the beginning. As I read on, I grew to love him more and more. His past just about broke my heart!! Gah! So much hurt. Vada, I liked. But, there were times (basically the entire last 15% of the book) where I questioned her decisions. Overall, I loved their connection.

If you are looking for a low angst and sexy read definitely pick up My Week with The Bad Boy. If you are like me you'll devour this book in one sitting.

I wasn’t expecting to get so invested in this story but it was a really good one. It had so much of the heartbreak and happiness that is true Kennedy fox fashion. Loved the story, the lesson, and the HEA.

The girls weave yet another classic rendition romance of the bad boy with a past. I can't ever get enough of their writing, because it's cute, fun, quirky and there is ALWAYS an HEA. Sometimes, I just need a book to snuggle up with on these cold nights and read something heartwarming, and the authors haven't failed me yet.

More like,
“My Week With the Naughty Boy”

Umm, I’m gonna try to keep this PG 😂

It’s going to be hard given our main eye candy 😍

Which is why I loved Ethan so much, his dirty minded, one track thoughts made the whole book

Vada being an author made a nice detail into the book, but I felt her lacking in some ways. I loved how she’d follow his banter.

Ethan, oh dear lord, Ethan.
I got no words for Ethan. He’s everything I wanted him to be with his mischievous, smart (naughty) mouth, he was just perfect 😍

The ending! Ohmygod, that ending! My heart can’t, it was sooo good!

Dear Brooke & Lyra
The name London was just perfect and it touched my heart 💕

And then I cried like a baby 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

Overall I enjoyed it, but I just wanted more. I wanted Ethan’s backstory more detailed. I felt like his story was rushed and I couldn’t feel his story, I couldn’t FEEL for him... if that makes sense

This duo has given me many heartthrobs this year, and I can’t wait for their future books next year

Vada is on a terrible writer's block and flies to Charleston for one week in hopes of gaining some inspiration. She rents a place to stay from a guy online. Everything is fine up until the moment a hot shirtless guy answers the door… I mean, who does that?! (But just so you know, if a man like Ethan answers my door shirtless, I won’t complain. Nope, not one single bit. *wink*)

Ethan is the bad boy of the town. Everyone knows him, some (let's be honest, most women) have been with him. He is the man Vada writes about in her novels.

Ethan is the sexy player with a dirty mouth while Vada is what appears to be snobbish and uptight. After they get over their initial feud, Ethan finds the perfect way to spark inspiration in Vada. And man it was hot!

I loved both of these characters. Right from the start, I was smiling like a fool reading their banter. They are so cute and adorable.
Just after a few pages, Ethan stole my heart. My heart broke for what he had to go through. His vulnerability and honest raw emotions were enough to break me and make my heart ache for him. I hurt seeing him hurt.

Reading this book, I felt all the emotions. The humor and happiness of their lighthearted and witty banter, the raw emotions from both their hurtful past and the strong love they had for each other.
I truly admired Ethan’s patience and understanding nature. But I was really annoyed with what Vada put him through. I feel like on Vada’s part, things could’ve been done a lot differently and still have the space that she needed to overcome her issue on her own.

I am not proud to admit that I have never read any books by these authors. But I am very glad that I picked this book up because I truly enjoyed it. Their writing is beautiful and I found the plot to be unique and touching. It had everything that makes a romance novel great.

With that being said, I am definitely looking forward to more books from this series and eager to read more books from these authors.

This was truly a great novel and I would recommend this to anyone who has a love for bad boys and witty banter, with just the right amount of emotions and angst. A solid 5/5 stars from me.

Whew! It is just a little bit hot in this room among other places, holy nuggets comrades. If you have been able to tear your eyes away from that delicious cover, I know it is beaver drool-worthy you really just want to lick it (I may have…), but seriously don’t you want to know why I gave it a 5 STARS?

From the beginning to end, I adored Vada. She is completely relatable person. I will admit probably the key favorite attribute about Vada’s story-line is that she is vacationing writer looking to finish her book. It is like Cumberland and Parish wrote a humorous tale of how romance authors might get their inspiration. Probably not, or perhaps – I really don’t know, just really fun character backbone that was a nice imagery. Not only is Vada just all around believable character you have Ethan, appearing as a crude sense of humor southern man who happens to be a really nice guy. It is always the bad boys, asshole complex type of men who have a closet sweetie pie just pining to snuggle. Obviously because this is an insta-love type connection romance, which lets be real majority romance is, this was played absolutely beautifully. The way the characters meet starts everything off in the right direction with a hilariously perverted undertone which ultimately dwindles down to both characters carrying the weight of their personally emotional baggage that they need to work to overcome.

This is probably the biggest compliment I can give this book in the shortest description possible: It is 230 pages jammed of laughter, steamy sex, emotional roller-coasters, struggles – the characters had a dynamic, their depth was beyond evolved within a short amount of read time and surprisingly not one-dimensional persona on either of the main characters. This is something extremely rare to find in romance novels of this structure.

Ultimately this was beyond just an amazing read. It was hilarious, with witty and crude banter, deliciously hot in all the right moments with a dash of sweet, emotional feels in the midst of the passionate monkey sex. The sex scenes were slide off your chair, beaver drool worthy, the connection of the romance was point on with chemistry dynamic. Once I picked this up I could not put it down but I wouldn’t expect anything less than perfection from Kennedy Fox considering my obsession with her Checkmate series.

I highly recommend this! Ethan is beyond the most sexiest man created for my hot wet dreams. Crude sense of humor, snide remarks, a mouth more useful than snippy banter and piercings in many places…. cough… other than his ears. He is my bad boy to spend a week with, please – where do I sign up? but seriously, just a great story, fun premise, amazingly fun characters – LOVED this book.

You should get it. You will probably thank me later so I will just say this: You are welcome.

What a heartwarming love story; two souls falling for each other when neither was looking for love. Ethan and Vada each had their own baggage, Ethan's a little heavier than Vada's. I loved how they came together. Ethan's cockiness surprising Vada into doing something that she normally wouldn't do. I first thought this book was flowing to well and I kept wondering what was going to happen. Then I got my question answered and I was shocked and a little irate. No questions were asked, no one was confronted! And then it took that long? I was dismayed but I knew in the end that these two authors wouldn't leave us hanging and for that I was grateful. This was a great book and a good reminder that love can happen when we least expect it but that no matter what it also takes work and understanding. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy for an honest review.*
