SO MUCH FUN.

If you are a fan of The Lunar Chronicles, you will love this final installment. As with the previous books, it is filled with adventure, humor, romance, friendship, and heart ... all of the things that make up the best of fairytales.

I think that's what I loved most about Winter (and the Lunar Chronicles as a whole). At its core, it is a fairytale. There are heroes and villains and lessons to be learned along the way. I don't want to say anything that would give away spoilers, but I also really appreciated how much Winter followed along with the original Snow White tales. In the course of reading the book I had almost forgotten that this was *Winter's* book. So, I appreciated all of the nods to the Snow White stories (as Marissa Meyer also did so well in her other books, particularly in Cress).

Overall, it was just so much fun. I will definitely be eagerly awaiting the Stars Above collection in February.

5 STARS: Recommended for grades 8 and up. A must purchase for YA collections, especially where the series is already popular.

yall,,,,,,,i feel like someone body slammed me and my heart got the most impact

When your most anticipated release of the year is your best read of the year! There aren't enough words, pics, gifs or else that could show my joy of this series. Unfortunately, it's time to say goodbye.
"I'm so thankful for the moments so glad I got to know you. The times that we had I'll keep like a photograph. And hold you in my heart forever. I'll always remember you."

No more Lunar Chronicle instalment to look forward to next year. Cri.

“Yeah, but broken isn’t the same as unfixable.”
*Contains Spoilers for previous books*
This is the last book in the Lunar Chronicles series and is a brilliant conclusion to the story. This book is a retelling of Snow White.
I loved the world building in this as we finally land on Lunar as Cinder and her gang set out to spark a revolution between the people of Luna and Queen Levana.
Cinder has grown so much from the beginning of this series and her character really shines in this book. Kai also has a few brilliant moments in this.
Throne is also brilliant in this one and has so many good one-liners. Cress’s bravery really shines through in this book and I love how badass she is even though she’s scared.
In this book we are introduced to Winter who was adorable and I felt the representation of her mental illness was done really well. I also like how we get to see a different side to Jacin in this book and my only complaint is that we didn’t get to see enough of them.
Wolf and Scarlet in this were just amazing and they are by far my favourite couple. Some of the things Wolf goes through in this book are heart breaking and I love the unlikely friendship between Scarlet and Winter.
And of course we can’t forget Iko who is just as awesome as ever in this book.
Overall I loved this book it was a fitting conclusion to the series and I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

I want more Winter and Jacin.

Ha sido un cierre perfecto para esta saga. He disfrutado mucho del libro pero pienso que hay mucho relleno en este libro y en mi opinión hay muchos capítulos que sobran.

crying bc everyone’s in love and happy and i’m so happy and i’m sobbing

most fantasy series/books especially longer ones really struggle with the problem of really good beginning/end and then really boring middle but this one had me LOCKED IN i was on the edge of my SEAT

truly the lunar gang is masters at splitting up the party i don’t think they were ever fully all in one room at one time
