This book had me hooked from the START. A snarky assistant who takes no crap from his demanding boss that everyone else cowers from? YES! Sign me UP!!! I'll admit that I got a little worried that the boss had a boyfriend at the start (I do not condone cheating), but it was all good. Also, got a little concerned at the potential level of angst - and there WAS some - but it didn't rise to the level where I fling my kindle away and go hide from it. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it was necessary to the story and character growth.

This hit just about all of my buttons. Sexy hot times? YUP. Witty banter? In SPADES. Side characters that you love and are hoping for a book about? YES. Emotional depth and happy resolutions? *Happy sigh* - of course!!!

I am adding this book immediately to my "favorites" list that I recommend to everyone. It was just THAT GOOD.

Oh my god, this book was beautiful. Dylan and Gabe were such amazing characters and I absolutely loved their story. It broke and remade my heart.
