a book written about a person with pots, by a person with pots, narrated by a person with pots! amazing disability rep and a really fun storyline. a bit dull at times, but picked up quickly again soon thereafter.

historical fantasy with fencing, ball gowns, chronic illness rep (POTS) and a cast of found family!!!!

i loved this - a genderbent three musketeers story set in france (also as a french person this was so good and the french was accurate, what a win) following Tania as she navigated the world of paris in the 1600 and learnt the secrets about the world of nobility. i don’t think anyone can hate a story where girls strap daggers under their dresses and seduce men, right?!

the only downfall for me is the fact that the love interest has my brothers name and so it was a bit harder to actually like him. there is a sapphic side romance introduced into the story later on and i adored them.

the fight scenes were dynamic and captivating, the author herself is a fencer and suffers from POTS, which makes it even more fun to read about as it felt like her knowledge shined through.

i cannot wait for the authors next book because what a beautiful and hooking story one for all was!

If you liked Barbie and The Three Musketeers growing up, you will love this book. It was a fun and empowering adventure, pulling on those same messages of Sisterhood and Self-Love.

It's Sapphic (Side Characters).
It's got disability rep! (Main Character)
and so much more!!!!!

It is also a STAND ALONE!!!!

If you don't have this on your bookshelf you are missing out.

Also the Audio Book is narrated by Mara Wilson and she does a fantastic job!

Cute story about friendship, good disability rep. A little cheesy and could’ve been gayer but I enjoyed it a lot

This is more like a 4.25. It would have been higher, but it takes a while for Tania to work through some of her whininess which got kind of repetitive. Though one could argue that suffering through the self-pity was worth it when she finally felt empowered towards the end of the book. Overall, it was an interesting storyline with a good twist. I look forward to this author's next work!
