For a moment I thought I’d be giving this book a far lower rating because I was disappointed as to how anticlimactic the reveal was…then, as Christie would often do, the tide turned and I was left genuinely surprised. The book was enjoyable and intriguing to the last.

Another crafty fun read from Agatha Christie! I was a bit hesitant going in because I wasn’t really a fan of Death on the Nile. And I knew the general concept of the mystery at the heart of this novel. But Christie weaves such a tight and engrossing story that I had no idea what to expect and never guessed the real murderer.

I listened to this one one on audiobook and Hugh Fraser was a delight. He also narrated The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

A delightful mystery, extremely tough to solve and really validated my Christie enthusiasm!
