I felt like this book had lots of potential, but I genuinely didn’t understand what was going on for most of it

I didn’t quite get the metaphor, but the fault is in me I’m sure.

A confusing story set in the perspective of a dog. I think this book comes from a different era when books would be interpreted and discussed among peers. I appreciated the perspectives on inter-connectivity and devaluing the hyper-analysis of everything, however the book went into some perplexing territory for me in the later parts. With nobody to discuss it with and Google providing unsatisfying answers, I'm left scratching my head.

Interesting short novella prodding a little at human arrogance and the limits of empirical knowledge. Definitely a must-read for 1st/2nd year science undergrads who don't yet realise that recognising what you don't know is as important as sharing what you do.

Filled with streams of Dog consciousness, which made it hard to relate. Though loved the satire.
