I find these surprisingly entertaining and not irritating like I was half-expecting. Kind of fun.

I got used to it. It took me some time, but I finished it! Not bad. It's pretty lovable.

2, or 2.5
Too much internal dialogue, not enough action.
I thought I liked Meg Cabot but I'm beginning to think that maybe I just really love Suze Simon.
Heather Wells isn't bad but she definitely does not have the same charm.

A great new mystery series that is just as fun and humorous as intriguing and mysterious. I was actually a little shocked by who the killer was. It took some time to get into for me so I will probably wait a bit to check out the sequel.

This was a fun book that came highly recommended in the reading world for the summer. Heather Wells is a former teen pop singer but when she decides she wants to become more independent she’s kicked from the label and her mom runs away with all her money forcing Heather to get a real job.

Now girls are dying in her dorm and the only one who believes it’s murder is Heather.

It’s a different kind of mystery than I’m used to reading but I still had fun and look forward to the next couple editions.

Pretty hilarious. Heather Wells is a character we love to hate, but we love her because she reminds us to ourselves. This time Meg Cabot did a good thing for weaving drama, adventure, and comedy into a quite good chick lit.
Honest, I cant put it down when started writing

didn’t read this but i know its fatphobic so … review bomb !!

This book came highly recommended, so I was prepared to enjoy a light, easy read. Unfortunately, I found the heroine wanting - everything in her life revolved around her love interest, from her future goals to her interest in the case in which she becomes involved. I loved the concept (pop singer turned detective!), but felt let down by the two-dimensional characterization.

The main character obsesses over her own weight while constantly insisting she does not obsess over her own weight. She then makes fun of other women's appearances while simultaneously demanding everyone stop judging her immediately. There was some kind of murder mystery, but she seemed more concerned about her weight than the murders, so I gave up after, like, 3 chapters.

I really just want a book where the dean's drunkard wife solves mysteries while dealing with her latest hangover. That would be hilarious.
