I couldn't decide between 3 or 4 stars. I really enjoyed reading this book, but I figured out the ending about half-way into the book.
Meg Cabot is the best and no one can tell me otherwise.
So glad I found this gem.

I was surprised to find I remembered almost nothing of this book upon my re-read!
It was a lot of fun, though, as most Meg Cabot's books are and I've now decided to finally read the rest of the series!

Honestly it was kind of an annoying book. They mentioned that the dorm/resident hall about a million times, she was constantly talking about Coop but then she was all over Jordan and I'm over just like woman make up your mind and if you really like Coop then go for it and quit belly aching about it. Also she was a terrible detective.
Another reviewer called this series Veronica Mars meets Bridget Jones, which is such an apt description. Let's be honest, the writing in this series really isn't Meg Cabot's finest stuff. But it's a decently engaging read!
I enjoy reading Meg Cabot's books. It's like reading a story that a good friend wrote. Her characters also seem to think along the same lines I do, so I relate well.
I loved reading Meg Cabot's books growing up, so I thought I would enjoy some of her adult novels. For the most part, I did enjoy "Size 12 Is Not Fat". I mostly liked Heather as a character. Her neurotic ramblings were more charming than annoying. However, her constant correcting of dorms to residence halls was grating. Also, her constant mooning over Cooper almost gave me second hand embarrassment. I wanted to tell her to either make a move or realize that maybe he's just not that into you...
Eh... this wasn't amazing. It had the traditional Meg Cabot witty style, but I don't think I'll continue with this series.
