This was my first book by these authors and I really enjoyed it.  I enjoyed the story and the banter between Aron & Drew was great. It’s a great lighthearted read that will leave you wanting more.

Not going to lie, the first 10% I was iffy. I’m really not a fan of books where one of the MC has a girlfriend/boyfriend at the beginning, I just don’t like people being unnecessarily hurt. But they didn’t end up together for much in this book so it made it more manageable, half way through I just knew what was about to go down with her. I’m such a fan of MM and I did really enjoy this book, I loved both guys, Aron being cocky and Drew more laid back. how they came together. I did feel like the ‘feelings’ did come a out a little quickly from being enemies. I enjoyed the storyline, im so looking forward to the next book after the ending and hopefully the boys get their HEA.

Aron Parker is a conceited, showboat of a player but an exceptional right fielder and hitter, loving his playboy life in St. Louis. Drew Rockland is the exact opposite. He has the perfect work life balance with his model girlfriend Jasmine in New York, is cool and calm under pressure and excellent pitcher. That is until Aron gets under his skin, and he throws a pitch deliberately hitting him during a game. A fight breaks out and they’re both suspended and fined. Neither understand the others past and why they act the way they do. As fate would have it they both get traded to Colorado and as there are three new incoming players and only two apartments Aron and Drew start their time living together. The team and fans alike worry about the dynamic of the two of them in the same city after their public fight. As they spend more time together, they find they might have more in common than they initially thought and hope to both be able to stay in Denver together.

Drew & Aron

I hate to say it, but I felt pretty apathetic about this book.  Putting the duet down here.

It's only half a book and not that good of one.

I love a good enemies-to-lovers story, and this one didn't disappoint. Drew and Aron start out as baseball rivals who end up in a heated physical fight on the field, instantly becoming famously known for their hatred for each other. Skip forward, and both get traded to the same team and forced to get along as teammates (AND roommates...heh). Of course, things happen and their dislike of each other dissipates rather quickly.

Having to navigate a new relationship-- a same-sex relationship that neither had ever entertained the thought of and deal with prejudice within the MLB, Aron and Drew fight their way to a sweet HEA. There are a lot of spicy scenes, though the scenes aren't all that detailed and left me wanting for more juicy details and/or longer scenes. Spice factor 3/5.

There are two books in this series, though there are a couple that are sort of their own side stories of other characters that appear in this book. Imagine my surprise when I realized I had already read Dibs (Matthewson's story) not long ago and it hadn't even crossed my mind that some of the names were familiar. Derp! I totally recommend that story as well :)
