Very interesting concept. Loved the story, but always felt a little bit uncomfortable reading it. But really liked it!

Started off so good with a great premise of a children’s librarian trying to help a boy whose parents don’t want him to be gay, but then the whole middle of the book just kinda dwindled. The last few pages about how books can save you were good though!

don’t write queer literature as a straight woman. thanks.

I think I saw another review say “after finishing this book, I wanted to walk up to people in the street and demand they read it,” and I felt that.
