I put this down and immediately asked myself ‘What did I just read?’ 😂

Weird and (kind of) wonderful, Nightbitch explores the challenges of motherhood through a mother who also sometimes becomes a dog 😳 Involving metamorphosis and a whole lot of violence, this book is wild! Content warnings will be included below.

A review I read earlier said something about the blessing of not being a mother and I relate 🫠 

Not sure what to read after this one, because it’s going to have me thinking about it for a while ✨

Electric, practically crackles. An overall sensation and a brutally honest depiction of the separation but also connection between motherhood and womanhood. A refreshing horror story with enough humor to make it digestible while also knowing when to cut back on such to explain the intensity and disturbance of certain scenes. I hope Yoder continues to write more novels in her career.
