Also: her sister Rebecca was just an all around horrible person! I couldn’t believe some of things that came out of her mouth.

I loved Frank, and the friends he met on the bus. But I expected more to come out of the woodwork as they searched for his lost girl.
Something about the other characters just felt flat or off to me, but I can’t put my finger on what it was.
I did enjoy the book, but don’t think I will go out of my way to recommend it to anyone.

Alas, I finished it because I was invested in the story with Frank and would have been happy with just that and maybe how Libby moved on in life. I would have rated higher if it weren’t for that plot line.

However, I want to say the romance at the center did not feel very believable and in my opinion did not add too much to the story. I would have much preferred seeing Libby, our main character, go on her journey with friends by her side rather than a romance that felt like it just happened out of nowhere.
In addition, some characters were very one dimensional (and cliche) and some dialogue felt very clunky to read.
I loved the concept of this book and will be thinking about sweet Frank for a while. :’)

I read this on my kindle and I usually only read on my kindle before bed so I don’t read as fast as when I listen to my audiobooks. But I looked forward to reading this every night. It was my favorite read of the year.
This book is warm and fuzzy and a little sad but more in a pull your heartstrings way than anything else. It made me laugh and it made me a little teary-eyed.
The cast of characters is super diverse: a woman with Down Syndrome, an old man with dementia, a guarded punk dude with a mohawk, and a woman trying to get pregnant via IVF. Plus, it takes place in London!
