Very low stakes and heartwarming read! Really enjoyed the slow burn romance and loved the interactions with the characters! Loved this book,

The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because I want so much more content, specifically about a mysterious side character. I personally identify strongly with the main character and cried through much of the last quarter of the book. Her journey was a cathartic and hopeful experience for me. The rest was so heartwarming and comforting; a perfect read for the winter season!

Near-perfect. So cosy and lovely. Once again, great characters, especially Thimble, Calamity and Amity the Dire-Cat.  This would make a fabulous feel-good film. Safe for younger readers, about relationships rather than anything sexual.  i am buying this series for my husband, who took them away on holiday with us recently.  When he finished the second book, he went back to the start and comfort-read his favourite bits over and over for the rest of the trip.  Had to return them to the library, so he is feeling the hole in his life.  Might even make him some thimblets, if he's nice to us!!!!!

This cozy fantasy was so gooooood!!!!!! I freaking loved all the characters so much! The relationships between them were so cute and adorable. Most of the conflicts were low stakes and even the "high stakes ones" were resolved nicely. I read through it so fast and adored every single moment. If you want to read a book about a retired fighter that opens up a coffee shop in a small town, who meets friends that help her settle in and make her dream of a peaceful life reality, then this is definitely the book for you!

Fantastic writing. An exceedingly cosy, gentle book.  For me, Pages to Fill was the gem at the end of this book, with a little more action. But Legends and Lattes itself beautifully fulfilled the author's intentions as a softer, bookish balm, without being boring at all. Like I said, wonderfully written. A sparklingly clear world to explore for a while and think about for a long time after.

This story was just so cozy and sweet. It is a clean, slow burn sapphic romantasy that focuses more on Viv's desire to open a thriving coffee business after retiring than on anything else. We meet several fun and quirky characters such as Cal, Thimble, Amity, Pendry, and Hemmington. Tandri and Viv have this really soft and gentle chemistry where they just click together. Towards the end of the audiobook, Baldree was painting such warm scenes with these two that everything seemed to softly glow in my mind's eye.

I adored this. There's a reason it has so many good reviews.
