3.5 Está bien pero un inicio muy abrumto, sin poco contexto. Me hubiera gustado algo más y luego la historia al final pilla velocidad y es como acabarla a prisas. Por lo demás está bien. El apagan ha hecho que lo leyera con más ansia
this literally went from being my favorite bridgerton book in the first half to the worst one in the series by FAR in the second half and i’m not even over exaggerating. julia quinn ur a freak lmao.
The best Bridgerton novel so far!

someone needs to stop me the next time I pick up a bridgerton book
Even if you aren’t a Bridgerton fan, I enjoyed this story so much I would recommend it as a stand-alone book.
Read this in 2022 and just reread it in 2025. Just as good as I remembered it and I was afraid my memory wouldn’t do it justice. It was heartbreaking the first time and still was the second time. But I still loved it. Francesca’s struggle with loss and her desire to have a family is storyline that’s not that common in the genre, especially among the other Bridgerton novels. Some trigger warnings probably should have been included (unless I missed them?). Francesca’s struggles hit home for me but honestly also felt healing. I am a bit protective of this book and will be sad if Netflix changes too much.
