Heard this is the holy grail of dark spicy romance, was not disappointed! Expected this to be mainly smut, but surprised to find out the plot is so good and there's a lot of it! Love the story, love the spice, love the twists💚

Good spicy scenes but lacking on the plot for the majority of the book. The end felt rushed and didn’t make the most sense. The last 150-200 pages didn’t see necessary.

It took me so long to finish this book. I struggled because of how boring most of it was. The beginning was strong but to be honest there wasn't any real plot in this book and the characters don't really have a personality, which infuriated me all the time. I had high expectations because of how popular this book is but I was dissappointed.

Okay so The Ritual is my first ever dark romance and I didn’t know what go expect. I ended up enjoying this book so much, way more than I expected tbh. Although the plot was weird and definitely cringy/uncomfortable at times, it grew on me and I just didn’t what to put the book down. It’s crazy because I even loved Blake & Ryat, I thought they had some amazing chemistry and I enjoyed their character development. This book had lots of twists and wtf moments and also had my heart racing at certain points. Can’t wait to read the rest of the LORDS series.
