Fast read, kinda cute. I enjoyed reading her doing the job and being able to master it slowly. But otherwise, it felt like everything was too easily solved and not earned.
I wanted to like this so much more than I did. It was an uneven mess with plot lines that were often forgotten until the end. Too much was happening and yet nothing at all happens over nearly 300 pages. Some scenes were fun but on the whole, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone else. 2.5 stars

It reads like a quirky cozy mystery but not strong on the mystery elements. A mid-life self discovery tale with a really strange trigger and journey but it ended up working. Some great feminist tones!

I absolutely devoured this book. Another new author, found on KU for me. It was an original story and the character had real growth. Funny with real emotional moments here and there, I consider this one a must read.
