I was disappointed in #14, so this one might have seemed better than it is, but I really enjoyed this--perhaps my favorite in the series so far. I really like the character of Corporal Carrot, and I really enjoyed the ending of this story. Will read another.

I love Terry Pratchett and Sam Vimes is one of my favorite characters. The fact the the gonne takes people over and whispers in their ear, demanding to be used, is a great way of explaining the violence we see in our own world.
