Listened via audio book… it was ok… I didn’t really have a connection to any of the main characters. But he supporting characters were more interesting to me… but enjoyable overall

if this was 350 pages and not like 600, this would’ve been so much better. the story just got so repetitive and boring that it was a struggle to pick it up. i also felt like the plot was similar-ish to wretched and i loved that book so much more. there was just so much fluff in the book that i just felt like wasn’t needed.

i did like how vanesa was always herself and did what she had to do to get by, but man did that get old fast. she’s also bisexual? kinda weird to me, but whatever. and enzo? i felt like he kind of just flipped a switch one day and decided to be obsessed with vanesa instead of aria (vanesa’s cousin). i do like a man obsessed w his woman tho, very attractive
