Way too gossipy for my liking, especially from this particular author.

I picked this up on a whim thinking I'd just skim it but ended up reading the whole thing because the writing style is so chatty and readable. Nothing really new here but an insight into how and why William and Harry's relationship fell apart. No one comes out of it looking very good: Kate is a grasper, William is pompous and ragey, Harry got sick of playing the fall guy for William so found someone new to give him direction, Meghan had her own agenda without really thinking about the role she was taking on and the Palace were unwilling to be even remotely adaptable. It felt like reading a retelling of a familiar fairy story and was fun for what it was.

This book was a lot more back story than I expected and less about current events which was a bit disappointing. I love anything Royal related so I didn’t hate it but I definitely expected a little more.

I found this book to be disappointing. A basic rehash of already published material. Didn't live up to my expectations
