Unfortunately this was too hard to read... I really hoped to learn something from this book but I gave up on it 30% in. I didn't like the way the book was narrated, I didn't like the examples, the narration felt like "I'm better than anyone"

Don't really like the author (or perhaps just the writing style), he comes across as pretty arrogant. Interesting ideas though that I will try. Very light on actual implementation details of the concepts though.

This is a very insightful book on the topic. Well put together, straight to the point, easy to understand and backed up by many practical examples. Also, it is not only a must-read for negotiation skills but also for communication in general.

The author being a former FBI agent (leader of hostage negotiations), teaching at Harvard and being CEO of The Black Swan Group makes it even more atention grabbing.
