I had a suspicion that I wasn’t gonna be a huge fan of this one… and I wasn’t. Still funny, still alarmingly sweet, crack your teeth sweet and sassy, but I think it’s a personal thing that I don’t care much about the weddings, the happy ever after… give me the “it’s falling apart at the seams ever after and now we want to fix it”!

That was awesome. I can't wait for Corey/Kori's book.

I honestly was NOT expecting to cry this much listening to this book. I didn't have the best things to say about Paul and Vince in Tell Me It's Real, but I think I'm going to go back and listen to that book in audiobook, because I think Michael Lesley might be able to change my mind on the story. Because this book hit me right in the feels. It was so heartfelt and the confessions were so raw...I couldn't take it and this left me sobbing. Happy tears, but still. I wasn't expecting it. <3

There's really not much to say about this book without giving something away. It's a lot fo the usual shenanigans you can expect from the Tucson characters. I think I'm an outlier on one of everyone's favorite moments though - Sexy Paul. Sexy Paul is what happens when Paul has too much to drink, and this happened in front of pretty much everyone Paul knows because Sandy is a devious mastermind. I thought the scene went on way too long, honestly. But I feel like there were a lot of other scenes that more than made up for this one.

It was great seeing Sandy and Darren being all in love and gross, while at the same time, seeing Paul and Vince being super horny before the wedding. My favorite part of this book is probably Vince listening to NPR and being extremely well informed about worldly matters.

This book was super fun and it was nice seeing the characters in a new light. It's very exciting that we meet Corey/Kori's love interest for the next book, because I think it's going to be super interesting to see how that'll play out.

Michael Lesley's narration is an utter gift and has made me like books I wouldn't otherwise have been able to read. How do I go from hating Vince in TMIR (I didn't listen to that one in audio) to absolutely loving Vince now? Vince's ignorance can be a little too much more me, but I think he's precious now. His love for Paul is the most precious and endearing thing ever and it's so sweet I almost couldn't stand it.

Anyways, this book was a lot of feels and the most heartwarming book of the series. It's also the shortest, but it's packed with all the sorts of wild things you would expect from these characters and has a very lovely HEA for Paul and Vince.

So this is book three in a series that I started reading because I was given the first book and all of my favorite reviewers seem to LOVE this author. So I had to keep going, despite the second book in the series being eh to me. This book goes back to being from Paul’s perspective which I was more than thankful for. Paul had me crying and wheezing from laughing so hard in the first book, I couldn’t wait to get back to him.

I was a bit let down from this book. It isn’t as funny as the first book. I wasn’t crying or wheezing at any point in this book, but there were some nice feelings. Paul seems much more tame in this book, which is good and bad. This would be a better read for someone who thought the first book was too out there, but it just felt like it was so much less than the first book. I still adore Paul and his perspective though. There is something just ridiculously likable about him for me.

Corey/Kori played a larger role in this book, which I am all for. I can’t wait for the next book which is supposed to be from their perspective. I can’t wait to see what happens. Another major side character played a bigger role in this book to, which I was surprised about. Charlie made more of an appearance, well he was on page less than in the second book, but his interactions were more about his character and less about moving the plot along. CHARLIE MET SOMEONE. I would read a book from his perspective and be happy. I would love to read about the cranky old man who cares for all these wild characters. He clearly has a heart of gold and I just love everything about him. I also love how everyone just calls him Daddy at this point. I have a feeling he will be more involved in the fourth book considering who Corey/Kori seemed to be pointed towards near the end.

Just overall, this book was ok. I liked all the cute feelings from Paul and Vince. The only sex scene I remember was a blowjob in an office supply closet, so that was different. There was humor in it which was amusing to me, but it felt pretty over the top in that annoying way instead of the funny way. I also couldn’t really picture Paul being into the way it went down, it just didn’t read as Paul for me. So while I enjoy some awkward dirty talking and public place shenanigans, it just didn’t read well for me. The way it started was pretty amusing and I have to hand it for Helena being a bad influence consistently, even when she is trying to help.

I laughed out loud. This book was a great finish to Paul and Vince's story.

Oh God not Bill Cosby.
I had another thought while reading it, but I completely forgot. Will edit if I ever remember what it was (or re-read).
Did TJ write this one before he figured out Jeremy wasn't Robert's biological kid? Or that they lived together?
