Soms hoofdstukken vol met leuke feiten over schapen die ik gemarkeerd heb, maar soms ook hoofdstukken waar ik moeizamer doorheen kwam.

A very well done cozy but informative book. If you want to learn about history and other quirky sociological things i suggest a copy of this book. The language is acessible for people that tend to have an issue with non fiction or english is not their 1st language.
I never knew this much about sheep and now i wanna go pet one.

Snappily written and interesting enough, but as others have noted it reads more like A History of England According to the Wool Trade at times. I would've liked a more international perspective - for example, how do you write about the English knitting socks for soldiers in both World Wars, even going so far as to say it might have played a role in victory, without any mention of what civilians in other countries were doing for their soldiers? I would have also liked to see more attention paid to farming practices, meat, cheese, etc. It was very wool-focused.
