idk why this book series makes VERY underage girls attractive for YA men but it completely ruins the first interaction for me
love gianna but sometimes girl needs to keep her mouth shut, purely for self preservation
honestly wanted her to right-hook her father after she came back from her europe travels
i hated how luca reacted after the car crash and even how gianna did, bc she made progress with matteo and then she just wanted to
Spoilerabandom him while he was dying ?? and even when she realised her mistake, she LEFT ???
that whole situation was messy but it was a bit more orginal than the whole kidnapping mafia cliche at 75%
but honestly one of the couples i see divorcing 15 years down the line, i think they wont tolerate eo's shit

Bueno, bueno....

SpoilerWell, well ... I will not say that my expectations are met because mmm, no ... There are some things that do not quite fit me. I quite liked it, so far it is my fav book. It maintains that addictive rhythm that all Cora Reilly' books seem to have, I had to read it in class because wow, the hook was brutal. I plan to finish the whole series this week, because all of the author's books catch my attention.

Ahora, Matteo
ENG:
Spoiler Now, our little Vitiello.

Aunque me gustó Matteo, dios... Luca, LUCA, LUCA VITIELLO me tiene, gente. Bueno, es que me gustó mucho más ahora que en su propio libro. Esa actitud tan protectora con su hermano, dios...
ENG:
Spoileralthough I liked Matteo, omfg LUCA, LUCA OMG... That arrogant and protective attitude towards his brother ... I can't

Dos cosas que me gustaron más que los anteriores son que hay un poquito más de acción esta vez, más sabor y más drama. Además que hay POV de ambos personajes... Que te puedo decir?
ENG:
SpoilerIt's more spicy, although it doesn't abuse the smut. That drama ... uff, I loved it, this is my favorite of the others. POV of both characters

Fue un enemies to lovers bastante bueno, no diría que muy enemies pero me dio un poquito de fangirleo sus escenistas medio de pelea más de tensión sexual. Me gustó bastante.
ENG:
SpoilerI loved the enemies to lovers, not so enemies but I still enjoyed their little fights combined with their high sexual tension

i love them so bad

Gianna and Matteo were a match made in heaven. Both alpha personalities, that ended up molding well together. Gianna's constant "bitching" in the beginning got old fast and there were times where Gianna needed to learn to read a room, prime example when Aria was roofied, like girl leave Luca alone. But once you realized how much she hated the world she was born into she became more tolerable. She and Matteo together were hilarious together. I believe Matteo experienced love at first sight. Everyone said he saw Gianna as his prey, but I believe he loved her and just didn't know what the meaning of love meant. Because a hunter isn't protective of his prey. Gianna wanting so much to get out of the world of the Mafia was afraid to admit her attraction to him. It was quite obvious when she was on the run and avoiding sleeping with other men. Nevertheless they found freedom in each other. I knew I would love this book the moment I met these two characters in Aria's book, the twist and turns had me hooked. I finished the book in a day. The ending had me pulling my hair and screaming at the book. Gianna has me nervous and stressed. But Matteo never lost hope in his girl. Tears on tears.

This book did a great job continuing to tie Cora's world together, and adding more context to storylines we had already read. I got the audiobook as well as Wen Ross as Matteo was chefs kiss!

4.45 stars I loved Matteo and Gianna since their first interaction, the way they tease each other, omg the tension between them was so good
