I loved the political tension and the main characters (& their romance). I was a little lost at the beginning & the world was a bit harder for me to get into than some other fantasy books, but pushing through was definitely worth it!

Listened to the audiobook. I kind of wish I would have read The Remnant Chronicles first for some background, but I did really love the development of this story!
